Chapter 26 – 6:15 PM Eastern Daylight Time – Seymour, TN

“How long’s it take to get there?”

“About eight hours.”

“Normal times.”

“I’ll take it slow. Joan’s gonna be freaking out if I don’t get back there.”

“You never should have left.”

“Denial is a twisting river.”

“Who’s that?”

“No clue. Looks like Stef’s headlights, but it’s black.”

“Who else would it be?”

“Buddy. I got no clue.”

“It is Stef.”

“Open the door. Let me by. You gotta be kidding me.”

“I mean, I think I see what happened.”

“She’s…”

“Hello, boyzos.”

“Let me guess…”

“Nope. Let me tell it.”

“This might be my favorite story ever.”

“Hi, James. Did this guy behave himself – you going somewhere?”

“I gotta get back to Hammond.”

“You’re gonna love it. It’s a free-for-all out there.”
